Ke Li’s research group is dedicated to exploring and developing novel drug discovery strategies based on chemical-induced proximity (CIP). By integrating approaches such as chemical biology, structural biology, DNA-encoded library screening, and computational design of protein-protein interactions, the group systematically elucidates the molecular mechanisms by which small molecules remodel protein interaction networks and regulate cellular behavior. They aim to establish an innovative pipeline spanning ligand discovery, mechanistic elucidation, and drug candidate development. The group focuses on advancing molecular glues and related novel drug modalities to achieve the selective degradation, stabilization, or functional reprogramming of disease-associated proteins, thereby providing innovative solutions for targeting biological targets that have proven difficult to address with conventional drugs.
